The Branch Gold Loan Auditor is responsible for conducting independent audits of gold loan operations across branches to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk management standards. This role safeguards the company’s assets, enhances operational efficiency, and ensures customer trust in gold loan services

Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular audits of gold loan branches across assigned regions to ensure adherence to company policies and RBI regulations.
2. Verify compliance with operational standards, internal controls, and risk management practices.
3. Check accuracy of gold testing, valuation, purity assessment, and loan documentation.
4. Identify irregularities such as spurious gold, packet mismatches.
5. Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and corrective actions.
6. Provide recommendations and guidance to branch staff on compliance and operational improvements.
7. Ensure corrective measures are implemented and track resolution of audit observations.

Preferred Skillsets

1. Strong knowledge of gold testing and valuation methods
2. Understanding of loan processes and NBFC operations
3. Analytical ability to detect discrepancies and irregularities
4. Strong and Excellent Communication skills (both written and spoken) to present findings to management and branch staff
5. Attention to detail in documentation and compliance checks
6. Familiarity with gold loan management systems and audit management software
7. Strong understanding of RBI circulars, NBFC compliance requirements, and gold loan-specific guidelines.
