Profile Overview:
The Cluster Manager will be responsible for driving retail sales of mutual fund products across assigned
territories, managing a team of Relationship Managers/Business Development Executives, and ensuring
achievement of business targets through effective channel management, client engagement, and
strategic initiatives.
Job Description, Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies for mutual fund products to achieve business
objectives.
• Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities to expand the retail and Institutional client
base.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Branch Manager, Relationship Managers and Sales
Executives to ensure high performance.
• Set clear performance goals, provide training, and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs),
other channel partners including institutional clients.
• Drive engagement and productivity across partner networks.
• Develop strategies to tap into new markets and deepen penetration in existing ones.
• Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and product
awareness.
• Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, compliance) to ensure alignment with
overall business goals.
• Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance, analyze data, and implement corrective
actions to meet business objectives
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations, company policies, and
ethical business practices.
Experience : Minimum 10 years in retail sales within the financial services/mutual fund industry. with
at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage teams and deliver results in a competitive
environment
Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of mutual fund products, distribution channels, and
retail investor behavior.
Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/PGDM
preferred).
Skills/Other Requirements :
Good communication and presentation skills, client negotiation and management, should be
AMFI certified, knowledge of mutual fund products, knowledge of mutual fund industry,
proficient in computers, team handling /leadership skills
