Manager / Sr. Manager - DevOps Engineer - Azure

Role: Manager / Sr. Manager - DevOps Engineer - Azure

Experience: 2 to 6 years

Location(s): Mumbai

Salary: Up to INR 22 LPA (Including 10% variable)

1: Job Purpose Statement

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems to support scalable and reliable application delivery.

2: Duties & Responsibilities 

·      Maintain and optimize build and deployment processes across cloud and on-prem environments.

·      Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and performance through automation and best practices.

·      Work with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release cycles and improve system reliability.

·      Adopt and integrate modern DevOps tools and practices to enhance delivery speed and system resilience.

·      Document processes, configurations, and incidents to support transparency and continuous improvement.

4: Key Challenges

·    Maintaining system uptime and deployment reliability across environments

·    Managing infrastructure changes with minimal disruption and risk

 5: Decision Making Authority

·      Decisions made alone – CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure automation scripts, monitoring setup, and incident resolution.

·      Manager to be Consulted – Infrastructure strategy, tool selection, budget planning, and compliance alignment.

Professional Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications in DevOps, AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred.

Experience Required 2-6 years

Knowledge

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)

Familiarity with cloud platforms and monitoring tools
