Role Overview

The Product Manager for Digital Trade & Global Remittance Channels will lead the design, development, and enhancement of digital platforms for corporate banking clients. The role requires a blend of business acumen, customer-centric design thinking, digital product expertise, and strong cross-functional knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Own and drive the bank’s corporate digital initiatives across Trade and Global Remittance channels.
  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision, roadmap, and digital strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Represent business stakeholders and serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring delivery of solutions that create measurable business value.

Product Design & Customer Experience

  • Define intuitive UI/UX, customer journeys, and workflow designs across digital channels.
  • Apply design thinking and user empathy to craft seamless digital experiences.
  • Build customized digital solutions for diverse customer segments including corporates, Exchange houses, AD2 players, PA-CB players, etc.

Domain Expertise

  • In-depth understanding of cross-border (AD2) remittances, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Trade Finance digital products such as Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Collections, Remittances, and related services.
  • Contribute to the development of payment and trade architecture, ecosystem partnerships, and enhancements that improve transaction value, volume, and efficiency.

Data Analytics & Performance Management

  • Analyse digital performance using relevant metrics such as ROI, ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rates, etc.
  • Use CleverTap for segmentation, campaign analytics, cohort tracking, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Build and maintain accurate dashboards, MIS, and performance reports; ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting.

Cross‑Functional

  • Work closely with Corporate Banking Relationship Teams, Implementation, IT, Sales, Operations, SDG, Servicing, Marketing, and external agencies to drive end‑to‑end delivery of digital initiatives.
  • Ensure timely execution across all functional streams while maintaining alignment with product goals.

Process & Governance

  • Create robust processes to support various product, operational, and control functions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Understand customer needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective, efficient solutions.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of digital banking, trade finance, and cross-border payments.
  • Experience in UI/UX design, workflow creation, and digital channel development.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in digital metrics, data interpretation, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
