Quality Assurance – Auditor

Role Purpose: Execute quality assurance reviews across audits, ensuring compliance with IIA standards, regulatory expectations and internal methodology. Provide evidence based feedback on scoping, sampling, testing, RCA, reporting and sustainability testing.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Review audit scoping notes, risk assessments and sampling for sufficiency.

·       Check completeness of regulatory coverage and references in audit reports and working papers.

·       Validate testing procedures, evidence sufficiency and linkage of exceptions to control deficiencies.

·       Challenge auditors on impact analysis and remediation feasibility.

·       Flag vague root cause analysis, transactional reporting and missing systemic / process gaps.

·       Verify testing of repeat / persisting issues and RAR observation sustainability checks.

·       Check the decentralized activity monitoring has centralized oversight reviewed in product / process audits.

·       Maintain QA review checklists, quality scores and evidence logs.

·       Draft QA memos with actionable recommendations and agree remediation timelines with Audit Leads.

·       Contribute to QA dashboards and thematic insights for governance reporting.
