Job Summary / Job Purpose

The candidate would be mainly responsible for Sales of Cash Management deals that generate revenue for the bank and help in building the Current account and Savings Account floats. The candidate should have understanding of Cash Management requirement of the client and the offerings in the market and should be able to conceptualize and give solutions for new products that can be offered to the client. The candidate having worked with or having knowledge of govt. banking client’s requirement will be preferred.


Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities / Tasks

·      Generation of CMS leads from NTB client and cross sell of CMS products to existing clients in respective Market.

·      Understanding of Govt. banking client’s requirements, new age payment products, understanding of PFMS, SNA, e-procurement, GeM etc.

·      Understanding of financial institutions, co-operative banks CMS requirement.

·      Analyse the client requirements on cash flows, Structure Cash Management product to meet requirements of govt. banking and mid-sized corporate customers by conceptualizing existing/new products.

·      Interact with Business RMs, Product, Implementation, Aggregators for client’s CMS needs.

·      Continuously increase the client base by adding new acceptable names by pursuing leads given by business teams and own leads & maintain existing relationships for the Bank

·      Meet sales targets which could be a combination of revenue as well as volumes.

·      Manage sales process from deal origination to negotiation, closure & post sales service.

·      Work closely with the Govt banking group (GBG) client coverage teams to provide the latest and entire range of cash management products to the targeted clients.

·      Ensure adherence to regulatory & Bank’s guidelines and procedures

·      Oversee implementation including documentation & hand-holding the clients.

·      Build a good working relationship with Internal as well as External customers

·      Proactively take on ad-hoc assignments identified by the Management to grow the CMS business

Candidate Profile

Academic Background (degree and major): Preferably MBA from a reputed institute


Relevant Working Experience in number of years: 10+ years’ experience in Cash Management Sales/Product


Skills & Competencies required: Knowledge of CMS products, PFMS, IFMS & Govt. banking with Sales background


Language Skills: English, Hindi, Local language
