Overall Job Description

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently conduct Internal Audits of Trade Finance operations and SWIFT-related controls.
  • Regularly review and update Internal and Concurrent Audit checklists to ensure adequate coverage of regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned audits and maintain comprehensive audit work papers within the audit system/application.
  • Articulate audit observations clearly and prepare detailed audit reports.
  • Discuss audit findings with the Team Leader, Head of Audit, and auditees to conclude audit reports.
  • Track, manage, and follow up on pending/open audit issues to ensure timely closure.
  • Perform testing related to RBS Tranche III controls.
  • Prepare and submit ad-hoc or periodic MIS reports as required by stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations and improvement suggestions to line management for enhancing existing processes and systems.

 

Concurrent Audit Management

  • Ensure timely submission of Concurrent Audit reports.
  • Regularly update Concurrent Audit checklists in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Perform appropriate review of Concurrent Audit findings and issues.
  • Follow up on rectification and closure of Concurrent Audit observations.
