Salary: Up to INR 60 LPA

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• Role is of Function Head - Alternates/Mutual Funds which includes :
• Managing the end-to-end fund accounting operations for a cluster of clients
• Process transformation through delivery standardisation and automations
• Client services - monitoring service delivery quality ensuring highest CSAT score
• Product development, including impact analysis of regulatory changes and implementing industry best practices
• Pre-Sales and Post-Sales support to business development function

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage operations of entire Fund Accounting activities for a cluster of clients and ensure stringent adherence to Regulatory requirements / Client SLAs.
• Fund Accounting Operations would include NAV/GAV computation, Pricing & Valuation, Client & Regulatory Reporting and Reconciliation(Bank, Holding, Capital, Regulatory Fees etc.).
• Ensure NIL regulatory and audit observations
• Independent coordination with various stake holders (both internal and external) viz. Auditors, Clients, Vendors, IT Team etc.
• Increase scaleability through various process transformations viz. process automations, standardisation of solutions etc. Actively solicit risk mitigating process controls for the operations.
• Assist Product team in developing new product and/or service lines.
• Maintain and nurture relationship with all clients, understand client requirement, pro-actively explore feasibility and address them deftly to ensure client delight.
• Assist Business Development team to acquire new clients through pre-sales and post -sales participations.
• Ensure team is well versed with the required knowledge and skill sets required for effective performance delivery. Arrange various on-the-job training programs for the team and create resiliency plans across various functions within the team.  

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Educational Qualification

Post Graduate or Chartered Accountant  

Overall Work Experience 

15+ years of experience in domestic fund administration services / mutual fund accounting operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.  

Other Technical/Behavioural Skills

Sound knowledge of fund accounting principles, practices and regulatory requirements including SEBI regulations pertaining to Mutual Funds / PMS / AIF / Insurance.

Strong understanding of the functioning of the capital market and fixed income instruments.

Expert knowledge in preparation of complex MIS and management dashboards. Knowledge of Multifonds would be an additional advantage.

Effective leadership with requisite interpersonal skills necessary to direct and motivate the team to achieve results.

Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively in English, both oral and written.

Strong planning and organisational skills, with a proven ability to prioritise competing demands and communicate this effectively.
